1. Who we are
LaunchPulse Inc. ("LaunchPulse", "we", "our") operates the LaunchPulse platform — an outbound GTM operating system used by B2B SaaS companies to coordinate signal capture, drafting, sending, and reply handling.
This Policy explains how we collect and process personal data when you visit our website, sign up as a customer, or are contacted via outreach run on behalf of our customers.
2. What we collect
For customers and prospects we collect:
- Contact details (name, role, work email, work phone)
- Company information you provide or that's publicly available
- Communication content you send to or through LaunchPulse
- Usage logs (which surfaces you visit, what actions you take)
For end-recipients of customer outreach we collect:
- Business contact details (work email, work phone, role, public LinkedIn)
- Public-signal data (job changes, funding events, hiring patterns, press mentions)
- Engagement with messages sent on a customer's behalf (opens, replies, meeting bookings)
We do not collect or process special-category personal data (health, political opinions, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, biometric or genetic data) as part of normal operations.
3. Why we process
We process personal data on one or more of these legal bases under GDPR Article 6(1):
- (b) Contract — to provide the Service to our customers under their order forms.
- (f) Legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Service. For B2B outreach, the legitimate interest is establishing business relationships between two professional entities; our customers maintain a Legitimate Interest Assessment (LIA) covering each campaign.
- (a) Consent — where required (e.g. cookies that aren't strictly necessary, see Cookie Policy).
- (c) Legal obligation — to comply with applicable law, court orders, and regulatory requests.
4. Subprocessors
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share Customer Data only with the subprocessors listed in our DPA and only as necessary to deliver the Service. The current subprocessor list (Anthropic for LLM inference, Supabase for database, Railway for infrastructure, Perplexity for research, Apollo for enrichment, Unipile for LinkedIn execution, Smartlead for email delivery, Plausible for analytics) is maintained at launchpulse.io/legal/dpa.
5. Your rights (GDPR + CCPA)
If you're in the EEA, UK, or California you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restriction — ask us to limit processing.
- Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
- Opt-out of sale or sharing — we do neither, but you can confirm.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@launchpulse.io. We respond within 30 days. If you're a recipient of customer outreach, the customer is the data controller for their campaign; we'll route your request to them within 5 business days.
6. Retention
Customer Data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after termination, then deleted within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
End-recipient data is retained for as long as the customer's campaign is active plus 90 days after a recipient opts out or is marked "do not contact".
